Dr. Carla Chinni

Carla, joined the IDT team in November 2024, Carla is a trailblazing Business Development and Marketing professional with a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Cambridge. With a rich background in driving business growth across B2C and B2B sectors, particularly in the bioscience, pharmaceutical, food, and agricultural industries, she has successfully forged a path in a male-dominated industry.

Her leadership was pivotal during her tenure as BD Project Manager for the Victorian Government, where she spearheaded industry development initiatives, promoting Victoria’s strengths in Life Sciences. She led the largest delegation to India for the Life Sciences sector as part of the Super Trade Mission to India, a major milestone for both the state and the sector, under the leadership of Premier Ted Baillieu.

Carla’s unique combination of scientific knowledge and business acumen has made her a dynamic force in advancing industry growth and global partnerships.
